Top Gear: McGuinness and Flintoff announced as new hosts
Paddy McGuinness and Andrew Flintoff will be the new presenters of Top Gear, the BBC has confirmed.

The pair will take over from Matt LeBlanc, after he steps down from presenting duties at the end of the next series.

The comedian and former England cricket captain will join existing presenter and former racing driver Chris Harris to complete the new-look line-up.

Filming for the 27th series of the BBC Two show will begin in early 2019.

Rory Reid, who hosted alongside LeBlanc and Harris on the most recent series, will no longer have a main presenting role.

Flintoff - great cricketer (briefly), annoying bloke

McGuinness - the only good thing about McGuinness is his missus, who is really only stunning in a 'what is she doing with that cunt McGuinness?' kind of way.

Might as well have Phil Neville and that bloke who used to dress up as Lilly Savage.

Just knock it on the head and make something new!

Top gear fans want petrolheads and for it to be more a car show

Not to have tv presenters and for it to be a entertainment show

Thought James Martin or Jay Kay would of been great to join Harris and Reid

Tragic programme for old men in jeans, having sexual fantasies about vehicles they will never own.

I like both of them to be honest.

But Flintoff as a cricketer and what he did for England. Not as a TV presenter. Almost everything he touches is a pile of shit. I mean, seriously, that bollocks where he drove up and down the UK selling fish and chips was just utter shite.

McGuiness I like for his stuff with Peter Kay and the dating thing was easy watching. Not sure this will suit him though.

It may work but I predict a car crash....

Sounds like the sort of line up chosen to justify it being the end of its, already overlong and relevance lacking, run.

Will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Obviously they feel the 'laddishness' needs to come back into it.

This is going to be grim. Neither of them can barely string a coherent sentence together.
Why not go the whole hog and get Robbie Savage on board?

Well, I suppose if your target audience is ‘northern neanderthal prats’ then they’re a great choice.
It’s time the BBC realised they killed this show the minute they fired Clakson.

Car crash television redefined!

I would like suggestions for even worse pairings than these two.

I will go with James Corden and Chris Moyles...
